I remember George as an acquaintance who turned out to be a virtual friend. While travelling around India on a blog writing trip, I chanced to meet George at a bus stop on Vypin while asking for directions to Guruvayur. He was very kind to allow me to accompany him on the bus to a location where I could easily get to my destination. Enroute we had a spirited discussion on the philosophy of a traveler and we can to recognize each other as fellows. We exchanged notes of contact and parted. 

 

This brief sojourn then began with George including my travelogues on the weekly list and we kept in touch through this time over email. Once he mentioned that he would be travelling to Delhi however we were unable to meet during his visit. 

 

George was and will remain one of the kindest people I have met in my life. I am sure he will be in a better place than before and at peace with himself for eons!
